About Us
Meet Sharon Amesu and Afiya Amesu.
We're co-founders of She Leads for Legacy. We're both multi-award winning Barristers by profession (Sharon was a Criminal Barrister for 16 years and Afiya Amesu is an Employment, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Practitioner).
We co-founded She Leads for Legacy because we've witnessed firsthand the systemic barriers that often hold back exceptional Black female talent. Our extensive careers have shown us that true leadership flourishes when barriers are dismantled and diverse voices are elevated.
With She Leads for Legacy, we are committed to creating a transformative platform that not only equips and empowers Black women to break into senior leadership and board-level roles but also builds a legacy of resilience, innovation, and inclusive excellence.
We believe in reshaping the narrative by providing the mentorship, training, and networks needed to pave the way for the next generation of trailblazers.
